How to be a successful blogger

Information on a top event for seasoned and would-be bloggers

by Bernadette Fallon

Whether you have a blog, or just want to start one, finding the right audience is essential. So how do you do that then?

Well, getting yourself along to the Handpicked Media Gets Social seminar on November 21 would be a good start. This day-long London event features expert speakers from the digital industry who will be giving advice on all aspects of blogging, from increasing your traffic to forging commercial relationships. And you’ll also have the chance to meet other bloggers and learn from their experiences.

I know the team at Handpicked and when it comes to blogging they know what they’re talking about – they are a social media agency and blogging collective, so they co-ordinate the efforts of bloggers from all over the UK. Find out more about them here.

The seminar runs from 9am to 5pm at the Royal Institute of British Architects, 66 Portland Place in London. Tickets are priced at £75 for bloggers and £150 for agencies – however we have a couple to give away, just send an email to with the subject line ‘Blogging’ and we’ll pick a winner out of a hat (very new media!) on November 7. For more information on the event and to buy tickets visit the Handpicked Media Gets Social website here.
