Celebrate Malaysia night in London on Friday 4 October

Experience a taste of Malaysia in London's Trafalgar Square

by Carla Griscti

For those of you who aren’t quite ready to embrace autumnal chills, then prepare to transport yourselves to sunnier climates and experience an exotic taste of Malaysia from the heart of London’s Trafalgar Square.

Malaysia Night takes place on Friday 4 October and is a unique and vibrant celebration combining the delights of Malaysian street food with contemporary arts and culture. Over twenty of the best Malaysian restaurants will be showcasing a mouthwatering selection of authentic Malaysian cuisine, with signature spicy meat and delectable noodle dishes, bursting with aromatic, zingy flavours. Give your tastebuds a tantilising treat with creamy coconut Laksa or sumptuous, salted Satay.

Look forward to a night of live entertainment with Malaysian artists, bring back some impressive home-cooking tips with live cooking demonstrations by well-known chefs including Ian Pengelly of Pan Chai, then browse the bustling market stalls where you can pick up traditional Malaysian ingredients, hand-crafted ornaments and gorgeous fashion pieces.
