Make a pretty paper cones advent calendar
This unusual, quirky advent calendar is so easy to make, and is perfect to fill with sweet Christmas treats

To make
Cut 24 16cm x 16cm squares from white crepe paper. Roll each piece up into a cone shape and stick together with narrow, double-sided tape. Cut 24 15cm x 15cm squares from coloured tissue paper.
Roll each one up into a cone and slide inside the paper cone. Write the numbers 1 to 24 on mini tie-on tags.
Cut 24 25cm lengths of narrow ribbon in colours to match the tissue paper. Secure the ribbon in place at the back of each cone with a tiny piece of double-sided tape.
Thread the numbered tags onto the ribbons and tie in a bow at the front of each cone. Fill with sweets, and eat the contents of one cone every day from 1 December until Christmas Eve!
