Turn carrier bags into Christmas gift bags
These Christmas gift bags are a quick and easy option for wrapping tricky shapes

You will need
Paper carrier bags
Printed papers
Card (or ready-made plain tags)
Ribbons
Bakers twine
Double-sided tape
Hole punch
How to make
For odd-shaped presents that are difficult to wrap, carrier bags are the answer. We used plain white bags and added rectangles of printed paper. Cut the patterned paper one or two centimetres smaller all round and use double-sided tape to stick to the front of the bag. Cut a gift tag from card, punch a hole, thread onto narrow ribbon or bakers twine and tie around the bags handles.
Tip: Use opaque pens to show up on dark gift tags they come in lots of colours, including white.
