Make butterfly decorations

You will need

● Fimo air-dry or oven-hardening modelling material in white
● Metal butterfly cookie cutter (if you don't have one you can use the template below for a guide)
● Rolling pin
● Medium knitting needle
● Oddments of fine printed cotton fabrics

To make

Roll out the Fimo to about 6mm thick and cut out butterfly shapes. Use the knitting needle to make a hole through the centre top of each butterfly. Follow instructions on Fimo packet to bake the shapes or air dry. For a more colourful arrangement, decorate the butterflies with acrylic paint.

Cut strips of fabric 1cm x 20cm. When butterflies are hard or completely dry, thread the fabric strips through the holes and knot the ends.
