Make this floral arrangement in a pumpkin
Mix hydrangeas, berries and autumn leaves in a suitably seasonal container

Presented in a pumpkin, this autumnal arrangement makes a stunning centrepiece, or Halloween decoration. Click here to see a larger photo of the finished arrangement.
You will need:
● pumpkin
● sharp knife
● vase or jar to fit inside
● scissors
● 3 hydrangeas
● leaves, in shades of green and red
● 2 or 3 sprigs of berries, such as hypericum
Step 1
Cut the top off the pumpkin and scoop out the flesh. Make sure that the bottom is flat inside. Position the container inside the pumpkin and fill with water.
Step 2
Trim the hydrangea stems so that the flowers sit on the edge of the pumpkin.
Step 3
Tuck in a few leaves around the edge and in the centre, to fill in the gaps between the hydrangeas.
Step 4
Add the berries and tuck leaves into any gaps that remain - see main photo, above.
