Build this house of fun, with a door and windows to open each day
Cut out the sides of the house and a roof from stiff coloured card. Cut out at least six white card rectangles for the windowframes and enough grey squares for windowpanes (four per white rectangle) to accommodate the first 23 days of December.
Attach these squares to the white rectangles with a line of glue along a side edge so that it acts as a hinge, carefully folding each back so that it can be opened, then cut out a big front door. Stick images from old cards behind this and the windows, then glue in place. Secure the sides of the house with sticky tape on the inside and number windows with a pen or stickers, making the front door the 24th.
Card, from a selection; stickers, both Hobbycraft. Wooden toy animals, Paperchase
