Make painted-star glass coasters

The star is painted on the underside of the glass so the top of the coaster remains easy to wipe clean.

You will need

• Lift-off tape
• Candle dishes
• Glass paint - we used Marabu GlasArt paint for glass in Glitter Silver and Glitter Gold
• Fine paintbrush

To make

Enlarge the star template to your required size.

Use lift-off tape to stick template face down onto the top of the coaster.

Turn the coaster over to the base side so you can see the template through the glass.

Following the template, paint the star onto the base of the coaster using a fine paintbrush. Leave to dry thoroughly.
