Make framed handprint wall art
Create a cherished keepsake of your child's hands and display it as quirky artwork in your home, or give as a thoughtful gift

You will need...
● Your childs hands
● A frame
● Light-coloured card cut to fit the paper template inside your frame
● Poster paint
Doing the handprints
With pencil, lightly mark on the positions of the handprints on your piece of card. (Remember to take into account the cardboard mount if your frame has one.)
Carefully paint your childs hands with poster paint (it washes off quite easily) and place them gently but firmly down on top of the marks that youve made on the card. Lift off their hands making sure you dont smudge the handprints. Your child might like to do this.
Wash your childs hands!
Leave the paint to dry.
Mounting the prints
When the handprints are dry, place the card carefully inside the frame, making sure its centralised.
Write the date on the front or back of your picture its always useful to know how old your child was when the handprints were made.
