Launched in 2003 by three local businesses keen to bring a craft fair to the town, the event now attracts nearly 10,000 visitors every year and more than 200 makers. Crafts on display include pottery, silversmithing, furniture making, glass making and, fittingly for Devon, surfboard design.

ICHF Events is back with a bumper crop of craft shows, starting with Stitching, Sewing and Hobbycrafts, the largest of its kind in the Northwest. Here, fashion fans can get a close-up look at the flamboyant costumes from hit TV drama 'Mr Selfridge'. There is also the chance to buy the latest supplies from more than 150 exhibitors or pick up new ideas in everything from sewing to papercraft at demonstrations and workshops.
Other shows include Creative Stitches & Hobbycrafts, which is back in Scotland in March with a new name - Stitching Sewing & Quilting Show - and new features.
