Teach someone else to knit
Nothing beats a one-to-one hands-on training session or three. If they know how to knit, pass on specific skills, like how to purl or do cable knitting.
Finish the unfinished project
We all have half-length scarves, mini mittens and tank tops that are meant to be jumpers tucked away. Make this the week that you dig them out and get going again - otherwise it's a waste of wool (and money).
Use up yarn oddments

Knit with friends
Invite your mates round, or enjoy a night in the pub, and get them all to bring their knitting. Or if you'd like something more organised, click here for how to find - or start - a knitting group.
Knit in public
Show off your craft with pride and bring knitting into the public arena. Knitting is a great way to pass the time when you're travelling - although do bear in mind that you can't knit on planes.
