Sew a silk flower corsage: free sewing pattern
It takes just minutes to sew this fabulous silk flower to wear as a corsage or in your hair a perfect statement accessory for weddings

Attach the flower to your dress or stitch it to a clip or band to wear in your hair.
You will need
● 17cm of 110cm-wide organza fabric
● Matching thread
To make
Press the strip of fabric in half lengthwise. Insert a row of gathering close to the fold.
Using the template below, cut the raw edges of the fabric into petal shapes. Draw up the gathers to measure about 30cm and arrange them evenly. Coil the gathered strip around, stitching as you go, to form a flower shape. Pin or stitch to a garment.
