How to make a recycled-fabric bag: free sewing pattern
We recycled an old skirt and curtains to make a useful bag

Following the diagram, make a paper pattern (1cm seam allowances are included).
Cut out two bag pieces and one base from both fabrics. Pin and stitch the bag pieces together in pairs at side seams.
Press seam allowances open. Matching side seams, pin and stitch two pieces together around top curved edges. Trim seam allowances and clip around curves.
Turn right side out and press. Tack lower edges together. Pin two bases together with right sides outside.
With side seams at end of base, pin and stitch base to lower edge of bag. Neaten seam allowances together.
