There's no need to throw away your old jeans: get creative - and save money

To make
Cut a pair of jeans in two by cutting up the inside leg and around centre front and back seams, leaving side seams intact.
Place the two pieces with right sides facing, and stitch a rectangle 27cm x 35cm, leaving top edge open.
Fold the bag so side seam lies on top of bottom seam. Stitch across end for 3cm to shape corner. Repeat for other corner. Turn bag right side out.
Cut a strip of fabric 60cm x 10cm for strap.
Press 1cm onto wrong side on long edges. Press lengthways and topstitch along length. Stitch securely to bag.
