Make gift bags for the Christmas dinner table
Make these present-filled place settings for your festive table

A bowl of presents linked to place settings adds fun to a meal.
1 Cut out one long rectangle of fabric per guest. Fold each one in half with the right sides facing, and sew the sides shut, leaving the top open. Turn right way out.
2 Place a gift in each bag and use twine to tie them shut.
3 Attach bells and luggage tags, decorated using stamps, and with the recipients names written on. Place the bags in a bowl and twist pieces of twine around the table leading to where each guest will sit.
Luggage tags, £2 (for 20), Pipii. Christmas stamps, from £3.95 each, The English Stamp Company. Twine, from a selection, Nutscene. Bells, £1.50 (for 48), Hobbycraft
