Make a simple felt Christmas stocking

You will need
• red felt
• large-eyed sewing needle
• white yarn
• velvet ribbon

Print out the stocking template below and enlarge to the desired size. Use to cut two pieces of felt.

Lay the felt pieces together and blanket-stitch around the edge to join the two pieces. (Here's how to do blanket stitch.) At the top edge, blanket-stitch along each edge individually so that the top is left open.

Stitch in the two ends of velvet ribbon at one side to make a hanging loop.

Fill with goodies on Christmas Eve!
