Sew an appliqué fleece throw: free sewing pattern
Make one (or more) of these brightly coloured throws to use in the bedroom or for picnics on the beach

You will need
● 1.5m fleece fabric (150cm wide)
● Boat-print fabric or appropriate motif
● Bondaweb
To make
Cut the corners of the fleece fabric into a curved shape. Then make a fold towards the wrong side of the fabric approximately 1.5cm deep and tack all round the edges of the blanket. Use a zigzag stitch on your sewing machine to topstitch in place.
Position the Bondaweb on the back of the boat-print fabric and iron in place. Cut out the boat shape or chosen motif carefully. Then peel off the backing paper and iron the motif to one corner of the blanket on the right side.
Use a zigzag stitch on your sewing machine to sew around the edges of the motif to finish.
