Make a cube footstool: free sewing pattern

HB make cube footstool

Footstools are fun to make.

Measure a foam cube (visit to find a supplier).

Cut out six pieces of fabric 4cm bigger than each side to allow for the seams.

Sew them to make a cube shape, leaving three sides open. Pop the foam inside and close using strong stitching.

To make the sides softer, add wadding around the outside of the foam before sewing.

Striped fabric, Malibu collection, £53.20 a metre, JAB
