Turn a cardigan into a cushion cover: free sewing pattern
Upcycle a charity-shop cardigan

Turn a charity-shop find into a tactile knitted cushion.
Place a feather pad inside a buttoned cardigan and cut the wool to size leaving a 2cm seam allowance.
Use fabric glue to prevent the cut edges fraying, then turn the cardigan inside out, pin and sew the back, bottom and top edges.
Turn the cover the right way out, unbutton and insert your cushion pad.
