Make an adorable sock bunny
If you've got scraps of fabric and single socks lying around the house, why not turn them into a cute sock bunny?

You will need
● A sock
● Oddment of patterned cotton fabric
● Sewing and embroidery threads, plus needles
● Polyester toy stuffing
To make
Print out and enlarge the template below, until the body width measures 12cm (for the size shown in the picture - you can have a larger or smaller bunny if you wish). Using your template, cut two body pieces from a sock, and four ears and one heart from cotton fabric.
Attach the heart to the front of the bunny where marked using blanket stitch. Pin and stitch each pair of ears right sides together, with 6mm seam allowance. Trim seam allowances and turn right side out. Press.
Make a small pleat at the bottom of each ear and, with raw edges level, pin and tack ears to right side of bunny front where marked. Pin and stitch bunny front to bunny back around outer edge, right sides together, taking 6mm seam allowances and leaving a gap at the lower edge for turning through. Turn right side out and lightly press.
Fill with toy stuffing and sew up gap. Embroider bunnys face where marked using pink embroidery thread for the nose and black for the mouth and eyes.
