Make mini Christmas stockings: free sewing pattern
Cute as a decoration or for mini gifts
Enlarge stocking template (below) by 400 per cent. Using template, cut out two stocking pieces from fabric and one strip 20cm x 4cm for hanging loop. With right sides together, pin and stitch the stockings together around outer curved edge, taking 1cm seam allowances. Neaten seam allowances. Turn right side out and press. Neaten top edge, then press under 2cm hem around and stitch. Press under 1cm on both long edges of hanging loop. Press in half and stitch. Fold in half to make a loop and stitch inside back edge of stocking.
