Sew a personalised cushion: free sewing pattern
Add a fabric initial for a special present

Cut two rectangles 33cm x 48cm for the back and one square 48cm x 48cm for the front. Draw the initial of your choice onto Bondaweb and iron onto reverse of chosen fabric.
Cut out and remove Bondaweb backing. Position the initial in centre of 48cm x 48cm square of cushion fabric and iron in place. Zigzag stitch around edges. Press under and stitch a 1.5cm hem across one long edge of each back. With right sides together, lay backs on top of cushion front so hemmed edges overlap.
Pin and stitch around outer edge, taking a 1.5cm seam allowance. Trim seam allowances to 5mm and zigzag stitch to finish the seams. Turn right side out and press. Insert a 45cm x 45cm cushion pad.
