Food buy of the week: clever curries

Ready made curry sauce - food buys and product reviews - food and recipes - allaboutyou.com

This curry sauce is so good that it tastes like you've made it from scratch - and two of the flavours in the series won Great Taste Awards last year. When cooking them you feel like you're creating a home cooked meal - you simply use it as a base and add whatever you want to it. We adored the Fiery Mirchi and added chick peas to it - it was delicious. The sauce was fantastically fresh and the one we tried was very spicy but they come in a variety of other flavours which are less spicy. All four sauces are vegetarian and gluten-free with absolutely no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Our favourite curry product of the year - so far!

Vini & Bal's Rustic Indian Curry Sauces, £2.79 RRP per 300g, Sainscury's (fresh meat aisle), Ocado and Booths www.viniandbals.com
