Stain Buster Eye Shadow
The best ways to remove eye-shadow stains

Fabric
Pretreat with a prewash stain remover then wash as usual.
Upholstery
Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with a proprietary dry-cleaning solvent and blot until the solvent is absorbed. Continue applying and blotting the dry-cleaning solvent until the stain disappears.
OR
Mix one tablespoon of washing up liquid with two cups of cool water. Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with the detergent solution and blot until the liquid is absorbed. Continue applying and blotting the detergent solution until the stain disappears. Sponge with cold water and blot dry.
Carpet
Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with a dry-cleaning solvent. Blot until the solvent is absorbed. If the stain remains, mix one tablespoon of washing up liquid with two cups of warm water. Sponge the stain with the detergent solution. Blot until the liquid is absorbed. Mix one tablespoon of ammonia (warning: never mix chlorine bleach and ammonia the resulting fumes are hazardous) with 1/2 cup of warm water. Sponge the stain with the ammonia solution and blot until the liquid is absorbed.
If the stain remains, mix one teaspoon of white vinegar with one cup of warm water. Sponge with this solution and blot until the liquid is absorbed. Sponge with cold water and blot dry.
