Stain Buster — Pudding, All Flavors except Chocolate

Fabric

Scrape off excess pudding. Pretreat with a prewash stain remover then wash on the hottest possible setting for that particular fabric.

 

Upholstery

Scrape off excess pudding. Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with a proprietary dry-cleaning solvent and blot until the solvent is absorbed. Keep sponging and blotting until the stain disappears.

 

OR

Mix one tablespoon of washing up liquid with two cups of cool water. Using a clean, white cloth, apply the detergent solution to the stained area and blot until the liquid is absorbed. Repeat, applying and blotting the solution until the stain disappears. Sponge with cold water and blot dry.

 

Carpet

Scrape off excess pudding. Mix one tablespoon of washing up liquid with two cups of warm water. Using a clean cloth, apply the detergent solution to the stained area and blot until the liquid is absorbed. Keep sponging and blotting until the stain disappears or is no longer absorbed into the cloth.

If the stain remains, mix one teaspoon of ammonia (warning: never mix bleach and ammonia – the resulting fumes are hazardous) with one cup of warm water. Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with the ammonia solution and blot until the liquid is absorbed. Sponge with cold water and blot dry.
