The finished snood measures 26 x 52cm when made up and will fit a teen or adult.
You will need
● 2 x 100g balls Debbie Bliss Roma – we’ve used Apple (53007)
● 1 pair 12mm/US17 knitting needles
To make
Cast on 23 stitches.
Rows 1-2 K1, P1, K1, P1, K1 to the end.
Rows 3-4 P1, K1, P1, K1, P1 to the end.
These four rows make a moss stitch pattern.
Repeat rows 1-4 until work measures 116cm.
Cast off using a knit stitch.
Making up
Loop the spare yarn through the hole at the top, then make two 3cm loops with it. Tie it into a bow and pull tightly to secure. Thread a wool sewing needle onto the yarn and sew up, keeping the knitted cast-off edge uppermost to create a neat finish, then secure the end and break the yarn. Weave in any loose ends to finish.
