You will need
● Cream and pink DK wool
● 3.25mm needles
How to make
Bunny body
Cast on 20 sts
Stocking st for 8cm ending with a purl row
Next row k2tog k to last 2sts k2tog (18sts)
Next row purl
Repeat last 2 rows until 12sts left
P1 row
Cast off
Bunny ears
Knit 2 in cream, 2 in pink
Cast on 3 sts
Inc 1 st k2 inc 1st (5 sts)
P 1 row
Inc 1 st k to last st inc 1 (7 sts)
St st 5 rows starting with purl
K2 tog k3 k2 tog (5 sts)
P1 row
K2 tog k1 k2 tog (3 sts)
P 2 tog P1 (2 sts)
K 2 tog draw thread through last st
Base
Cast on 7 sts
K 1 row, P 1 row
Inc 1 st each end of next row (9 sts)
P 1 row
Inc 1 st each end of next row (11 sts)
P 1 row
Inc 1 st each end of next row (13 sts)
Starting with a purl row St St 3 Rows
Next row k 2 tog k to last 2 sts k2 tog (11 sts)
Purl 1 row
K2 tog k to last 2 sts k2 tog (9 sts)
P 1 row
K 2 tog K to last 2 sts k2 tog (7 sts)
Cast off
To make up
Pin body pieces right sides together
Back-stitch around leaving cast-on edges open
Stuff head. Tie ribbon around neck (for young children omit ribbon and gather up tightly for neck)
Stuff the body
Stitch on base
Stitch pink to cream ears and sew in place
Make small pompom for tail
Stitch face with dark yarn
